Ontario Healthcare Facility First Aid Kit Guide
- Type 1 Personal First Aid Kit: For isolated staff, mobile team members, off-site staff, drivers, and workers without immediate access to a central first aid kit.
- Type 2 Basic First Aid Kit: Suitable for lower-risk healthcare workplaces such as medical offices, clinics, administrative areas, pharmacies, and general workplace settings. Available in small, medium, and large sizes based on workers per shift.
- Type 3 Intermediate First Aid Kit: Suitable for higher-risk workplaces or procedure-focused areas where there may be a higher risk of first aid events. Type 3 kits are described as intermediate workplace kits for higher-risk environments and include additional items beyond Type 2 kits.
- Small Kits: 2 to 25 workers per shift
